Wadaiko Rindo Sydney was established in 2010 with the generous support and guidance of the taiko pioneers in Australia and the founders of ‘Wadaiko Rindo’ Melbourne, Toshi and Junko Sakamoto. Wadaiko Rindo Sydney showcases the powerful rhythms and rich cultural heritage of traditional Japanese taiko drumming, driven to entertain and inspire audiences of all ages and backgrounds and connect with communities near and far.

Wadaiko Rindo Sydney also hosts taiko classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced players. Easy steps, fun, hands-on practice, supportive guidance, and lots of positive energy - newcomers are welcome to give it a try!

• Year-end Student Concert: All students come together and celebrate their progress, teamwork and the joy of making music together through a collaborative, audience-friendly performance.
